“John’s knowledge of the One&Only brand and commitment to excellence, ensures that he will continue to raise the level of service and experience throughout One&Only Ocean Club,” says George Markantonis, President & Managing Director. “With more than 15 years of experience here in The Bahamas, John’s wealth of expertise and long history with One&Only Ocean Club’s sister property, The Cove Atlantis, will help build upon the foundations that have made One&Only Ocean Club a leader in the Caribbean.”

With almost 30 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Conway acted as Senior Vice President and General Manager of The Cove Atlantis, where he was instrumental in the overall strategic planning and the successful launch and positioning of the new luxury brand. Prior to that, Conway served as senior vice president and general manager of the 1,200-room Royal Towers at Atlantis, Paradise Island, where he managed the resort’s day-to-day operations and achieved profitability as well as positive guest and employee satisfaction ratings.

Conway also previously held various executive positions over 10 years at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company including serving as the general manager of the Ritz-Carlton Bali and opening the Ritz-Carlton in Seoul. In addition, he was the hotel manager of the Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida as well as on the opening team of the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach and the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.
