Adare Manor, located near Limerick and Shannon International Airport, has been voted by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine one of the best hotels in the world for 2013. The five-star resort has been named a “Top 500 Hotel on the World” for ten consecutive years. Travel+Leisure is a leading luxury travel magazine published in the United States.

The former manor house was until the 1980s the country seat of the Earls of Dunraven. The second Earl also created adjacent Adare Village in the early 1800s. Today Adare Village is one of Ireland’s most cherished and picturesque destinations with its charming thatched-roof cottages originally built to house for workers of the estate. In 1982, the Adare Manor was converted into a five star hotel, golf resort and spa.
