ME London, the most recent opening of the ME by Meliá brand created by Meliá Hotels International, has been selected for the final stage of the European Hospitality Awards 2013, that year after year acknowledge the most outstanding players in the European and global hotel industry. In 2011, Gabriel Escarrer, Chairman and founder of the company, received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement award for his remarkable career at the head of the largest Spanish hotel company.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony to be held in London on November 1 by a jury comprised of experienced hotel industry leaders. The European Hospitality Awards aim to recognize outstanding contributions to the hotel industry in many different aspects of the business, and this year the ME London is the hotel with the most nominations, including "Best new hotel opening," "Best Hotel Suite" for the Suite ME, and "Innovation of the Year" for the Aura Service.
