Now in its seventh year, the annual Virtuoso Best of the Best Awards honour the properties and individuals worldwide that best exemplify Virtuoso’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. While the editors of Virtuoso Life magazine, the network’s award-winning publication, combed through hundreds of options to determine the nominees, it was Virtuoso’s travel advisors who ultimately decided the winners in each category.

“A Best of the Best Hotel Award is a true honour. We are delighted to be recognised by Virtuoso’s travel advisors, who are some of the most valued professionals in the industry, and who demand excellence for their discerning clientele,” said Jonas A Schuermann, General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. “It is an acknowledgement that we hold high, especially for 2013, which marks the hotel’s 50th anniversary. We have been delighting guests with our award-winning service and impressive facilities for 50 fantastic years, and are looking forward to the next 50 years in the heart and hearts of Hong Kong.”
