Quadriga, the leading global provider of guest-facing technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has established a new subsidiary based in Dubai, to support the growing business needs of its customers. Dubai provides an important regional hub for global hotel brands, seeking to expand across the Middle East region, Africa and Asia, and Quadriga’s international expansion responds to their growing need for a single partner to help them deliver a consistent guest connectivity and entertainment experience across multiple continents.

In addition to continuing to support the needs of long-standing partners in the region, like the Four Seasons hotel in Doha, the newly formed Quadriga operation is working closely with more recent hotel customers including Action Hotels. Action Hotels, the leading mid-market hotel developer in the Middle East, has selected Quadriga’s leading guest communication and entertainment platform, Sensiq, and its IPTV system, for all 242 rooms in its new Holiday Inn Muscat, due to open later in 2013. Quadriga has also recently been awarded another major project in Doha for Bin Shamikh, (the hotel operator is so far unannounced), to deliver a communications and entertainment solution for 392 guest rooms.

Prem Kumar, Quadriga’s SVP and Managing Director ME, appointed to lead and develop the company’s new Middle East operation, comments, “The fast-growing globalisation of the industry is driving impressive growth in the Middle East, where the number of rooms in new-build hotels is set to be 50% higher than new-build hotels in Europe.(*)” He continues, “I am delighted to be a part of the Quadriga global team, supporting the evolving needs of our industry and businesses across the Middle East.”

Quadriga’s CEO, Roger Taylor, comments, “Quadriga is now, more than ever before, uniquely positioned, with a presence in the USA, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia, to meet the global technology needs of our customers.” He continues, “I am proud to be strengthening our presence here to help bring exciting new hotel properties and technology to the Middle East region.”
