Rezidor SAS Hospitality, one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, has announced the appointment of Thorsten Kirschke as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, effective 1 September 2006.
Thorsten Kirschke, who is German, has worked for Rezidor SAS for the past twelve years and has during this time held several international management positions within food & beverage and operations. For the past five years he has held senior positions as Regional Director Middle East & China and Area Vice President Germany. His most recent position was Area Vice President Germany, Austria, South East Europe, Switzerland, Italy and Poland.
Thorsten Kirschke will maintain his role as Area Vice President Germany in addition to his new position.
“Thorsten Kirschke has broad international experience and intimate knowledge of our company”, says Kurt Ritter, President and CEO of Rezidor SAS. “With his background and dynamic personality he will bring some fresh blood to our executive team.”
The Senior Vice President & COO reports to the President and CEO, and is a member of Rezidor SAS Executive Committee.
