Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai has announced that it will embark on an extensive renovation program that will see all areas of the Hotel completely transformed, offering a fresh new design, ambience and facilities. The program will see the Hotel close from June 1, 2020.

This is an exciting new chapter for Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai. This renovation program will completely reimagine the facilities, features and experiences at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai to delight local residents as well as global travellers,” says Adrian Messerli, Regional Vice President and General Manager, Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.

When reopened, the Hotel will welcome guests with 233 rooms and suites, new dining concepts, fitness and wellness space. Guests seeking new ideas for weddings, social events and product launches will have new event spaces spanning more than 20,000 square feet (1,860 square metres) to explore.

Seventeen years ago, Four Seasons made its debut in China with Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai and opened the door for our expansion in China. We are committed to being a part of the great city of Shanghai and look forward to launching a brand new experience for our guests,” notes Rainer Stampfer, President Hotel Operations, Asia Pacific.

We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Four Seasons since 2011 and we are delighted to embark on this renovation program. It represents our commitment to quality and excellence, which are values that we share with Four Seasons, and we look forward to many more years of collaboration with them,” adds William Doo, Chairman of Fungseng Prosperity Holdings Limited, the holding company of Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.

In celebration of the renovation program at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai, the Hotel will be introducing a suite of new promotions in 2020 to mark the beginning of its new journey.
