It helps to create synergies, meetings and bridges between luxury travel players and the luxury industry. The event is designed to explore the ideas and inspirations of each partner in order to highlight the trends of the year and propose a forward-looking view of the sector.
The 6th edition of the event, originally scheduled for March 22-27 in Marbella, is postponed from March 14 to 19, 2021. Nevertheless, Traveller Made chose to innovate and create a free virtual solution to maintain meetings between members and partners who had confirmed their participation. An immediate alternative to nurture exchanges, to bring out new concepts and models in the light of major trend—a first in the luxury trade sector.A new and unifying initiativeIn just two weeks, Traveller Made has completely overhauled its platform and designed an internal algorithm that took into account the variables selected by members and partners (preferences, priorities, schedules and time zones), thus creating virtual one-on-one meetings via the Zoom platform.
On Friday, March 13, Traveller Made issued invitations to all of its members and partners. Registrations for a virtual version of the event "The Essence of Luxury Travel" exceeded the expectations of Traveller Made. 420 members and partners attended, more than half of the participants in the physical event originally planned in Spain. Thanks to the responsiveness and energy of the entire Traveller Made team, nearly 10,500 virtual meetings were scheduled from March 23 to 27. Luxury travel players such as Aman Resorts, Oetker Collection, Cheval-Blanc, One and Only Resorts, The Peninsula Hotels, Belmond,Aqua Expeditions, and Titilaka, SANGHA Retreat by OCTAVE Institute, have opted for this novel solution developed by Traveller Made, also praising the dynamism and resilience of the network.
