The only Ottoman imperial hotel and palace hotel on the shores of the Bosphorus, with its striking location and extensive grounds, has a history dating back to the 17th century. Berthold - a Brand-new Pop-up Venue

Another exciting outdoor venue on warm spring evenings is the new pop-up Berthold in the Palace gardens set against the backdrop of a breathtaking Bosphorus vista. Named after Berthold Kempinski, founder of Kempinski Hotels and one of Berlin’s most innovative restaurateurs in the beginning of the 20th century, this three-wheeler was rebuilt with special parts from abroad to relate the story of Kempinski with a modern twist. With its wonderful ambiance and comfortable and cosy seating area, Berthold offers a unique pop-up joint concept, Bosphorus views andTurkish wines by the glass, sourced from local boutique wineries from all around Turkey. Also on offer are delicatessen and cheese varieties, various sandwiches or hot dogs.
