This closely follows a successful first partnership between the two companies with the opening of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok in 2020, that launched IHG’s global boutique brand into South East Asia. This will be the second luxury and lifestyle brand that IHG and Siam Sindhorn will debut to South East Asia and Thailand. Both hotels are situated within Sindhorn Village, a development project that spans 42 rai in the area of Langsuan Road and Soi Tonson.

Designed by award-winning strategic design firm, Eight Inc, the 393-key Sindhorn Midtown delivers effortless elegance through bold art and inspired design. Opened in March 2020, the hotel blends contemporary interiors with warm hospitality, and innovative technology that keeps guests connected.

Serena Lim, Vice President, Development, SEAK, IHG: “We are excited to extend our partnership with Siam Sindhorn and welcome Sindhorn Midtown as our first Vignette Collection hotel in Asia, situated in the bustling city of Bangkok and demonstrating our continued sustainable growth in the Kingdom. We have developed a strong working relationship with the team at Siam Sindhorn, working closely together on Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok which became the talk of the town when it launched in the middle of the pandemic.

“Sindhorn Midtown is a beautiful property offering a one-of-a-kind stay experience, designed with a modern Thai flair with stylish and comfortable rooms and suites. As guests start to travel again, the hotel will deliver a fantastic and authentic experience for both leisure and business travellers.

“We are seeing increased interest from owners to bring their world-class and independent hotels into the Vignette Collection as each property’s distinctive identity will be celebrated while enjoying the power of IHG’s global scale. We will open our second Vignette Collection hotel in Pattaya, Thailand in the next few years and expect to attract more than 100 Vignette Collection hotels globally in ten years.”

Khun Chalaluck Bunnag, Managing Director said: “We have a fantastic relationship with IHG and had such a great experience working with the IHG team in the brand debut and successful roll-out of Kimpton into South East Asia. We know that they are the right partner for Sindhorn Midtown and are proud to introduce it as the first Vignette Collection hotel to open in Thailand and Asia. With IHG’s strong in-country team and its global enterprise and systems, we’re confident that they will bring this hotel to great success.

“Sindhorn Midtown is the heart and soul of Langsuan, bringing people and communities together, with contemporary comfortable stays and must-visit restaurant and bar concepts. The hotel experience perfectly resonates with the Vignette Collection which offers one-of-a-kind stays, memorable rituals for every guest, and a commitment to support the local community and neighbourhood. We are confident that Sindhorn Midtown will surprise and delight our guests who seek authentic, experiential and responsible hotel stays.”

Forty minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Sindhorn Midtown sits in the neighborhood of Langsuan, with easy access to both Sukhumvit and Silom. An urban Langsuan sanctuary, all rooms and suites contain signature artworks from local artists such as Kachama Perez and offer modern amenities, including Fritz Hansen’s iconic Drop chairs.

Well-known for sweeping skyline views from its rooftop pool, facilities also include three restaurant and bars, one of which is a collaboration with Saneh Jaan, five-time Michelin-star restaurant, a swimming pool, fitness centre and over 170 square metres of meeting space.
