Following the successful launch in summer last year, The Dorchester Rooftop will return for spring 2022 with a residency by the award-winning team from The Bar at The Dorchester.

As the cocktail institution closes in its current position on the ground floor to be re-designed by Martin Brudnizki, the bar team, led by Giuliano Morandin and Lucia Montanelli, will head to the 9th floor of The Dorchester to launch a speakeasy-style pop-up bar and lounge.

Opening March 21, 2022, an expertly crafted cocktail menu will be available to be savoured amongst the new eccentric interiors of The Dorchester Rooftop.

In a special collaboration with Courvoisier, this reinvented hangout features a sensory experience with alluring artwork and live music, paired with tantalising cocktails and breathtaking views.

The menu celebrates the wonders of spring through a series of seasonal cocktails. Each one is inspired by a legendary masterpiece, beautifully reimagined in the menu by illustrator Sonia Hensler.

Commenting on the inspiration behind the cocktail concept, head bartender Lucia Montanelli said; "Spring is my favourite season; it inspires us to create new blends with the extraordinary variety of ingredients available at this time of year. Our creativity, stimulated by this season, is enhanced by the beauty of art in all its forms. This menu is dedicated to the artists who have made spring their muse.”

With views across Hyde Park and East London, The Dorchester Rooftop will be open daily, with a lounge area to relax with a cocktail whilst listening to a live music in partnership with Molto Music Group & Yamaha Music London.

The Dorchester Rooftop first opened to coincide with The Dorchester’s 90th anniversary.

Throughout the summer of 2021, The Dorchester Rooftop welcomed a series of chef residencies and culinary pop-ups, including: relaxed Parisian chic by Alain Ducasse; a British summertime menu by Tom Booton and The Grill; Sri Lankan dishes by Mario Perera; and the Polo Lounge at sister property, The Beverly Hills Hotel.
