Bathed in sunlight, the Hotel’s elegant Marble Courtyard offers the perfect setting for guests to sit back and soak up the festive, summery atmosphere that pervades the Hotel during the warmer months of the year.

Throughout the summer months, the Courtyard will display Jeff Leatham’s Kaleidoscope, a monumental, multi-faceted fountain designed by the Hotel’s celebrated artistic director. Exhibited for several months at the New York Botanical Garden, this majestic vanda orchid – Jeff’s signature flower – will adorn the heart of the Hotel throughout the summer, mesmerising guests with its play of light, mirrors and colours.

In the verdant, peaceful setting of the Marble Courtyard, guests can start the day with a delectable breakfast with Parisian influences, with homemade breads and golden-brown, crunchy pastries crafted by Head Baker Guillaume Cabrol.

Exuding an aura of elegance and peace, the Courtyard is the perfect spot to fuel the body for the day ahead before setting off to explore the City of Light.

With crisp white tablecloths and gold-set porcelain plates from Bernardaud, at lunchtime the Marble Courtyard provides a charming setting to savour a selection of gourmet dishes by Le George, one of the hotel’s three Michelin-starred restaurants.

Chef Simone Zanoni has created a selection of summery dishes that burst with flavour, transporting diners to the heart of Italy. Starters include crudos, saffron arancini with tuna tartare and vitello tonnato, while to follow are dishes such as ravioli del plin with tomato sauce and Milanese veal cutlet.

To round off the meal, Pastry Chef Michael Bartocetti has crafted mouthwatering sweet creations such as baba al limoncello and a tangy mint sorbet. Guests wishing to sit back and relax after lunch or enjoy a gourmet break between afternoon shopping sessions can head to La Terrasse, where Chef Simone Zanoni crafts refined dishes with Mediterranean influences throughout the afternoon.

At the end of the day, Bar Louis XIII – a hidden gem in Paris – becomes a veritable playground for George V mixologists. With its imposing Renaissance fireplace and splendid woodwork dating to the 1930s, the bar will exude a chic and dandy atmosphere in early August.

Featuring an open-air patio that bursts with greenery, Bar Louis XIII is a trendy spot to sip a cocktail in the early evening sunshine to the sound of lively, upbeat tunes.

The drinks menu includes signature creations with zesty summer flavours, such as Candy Shop, with its refreshing flavours of Aperol and Grey Goose vodka with grapefruit, lime and bergamot syrup; Maya, a quirky take on a Pisco Sour, made with St-Germain liqueur, pineapple and honey syrup; Green City, a deliciously refreshing drink made with Beefeater 24, green Chartreuse, lime juice, bergamot and spicy coriander; and Waiting for Passion, with acidic notes of passion fruit marrying beautifully with champagne bubbles.

Lovers of great mixology classics will also find legendary cocktails prepared by the bar’s expert mixologists, such as Spritz, Bellini, Spicy Margarita and Negroni. The bar offers the perfect setting to enjoy a catch up with friends while making the most of the long summer evenings.

Priced at EUR 70 per person (excluding drinks), the menu of Michelin-starred restaurant Le George is available daily for lunch and dinner in the Marble Courtyard. Reservations on (+33) 01 49 52 72 09 or at le.george@fourseasons.com.

La Terrasse by Simone Zanoni serves food between 3:00 and 7:00 pm.

The Bar Louis XIII will be open from 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight from August 1 to 28, 2022.
