In May 2023, the largest hotel in the Zurich metropolitan region, with 447 rooms, will open its doors as Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich. The Group's Swiss portfolio thus grows to ten hotels with more than 2,300 rooms in operation or under development.
The new Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich is located in the Glattpark district of Opfikon, a new development in the Zurich metropolitan area in recent years.
Glattpark benefits from a central location between downtown Zurich and the airport and thus benefits from exceptionally good connections to local and long-distance public transport, the airport and the A1/A4 and A51 highways.
The Messe Zürich exhibition center is in the immediate vicinity.
The hotel offers 104 hotel rooms as well as 343 fully furnished serviced apartments with kitchenettes with glass-ceramic stove, dishwasher, kettle, microwave and other kitchen equipment. Guests of the Radisson Hotel & Suites Zurich also have access to a fitness area.
The “Luigia” restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine and cozy seating in the green courtyard, as well as a bar and the roof terrace, complete the offer.
The property is owned by an entity of W5 Group, the family office of real estate entrepreneur Ralph Winter, and will be operated by Cycas Hospitality from May 2023.
Radisson Hotel Group and Cycas Hospitality are expanding their partnership with this second project, following Radisson Hotel & Suites Amsterdam South, which opened in 2021.
