The Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel has launched Nomad Dining Experience, a very special culinary experience that takes place in the Chef’s vegetable garden.

Located in Villefranche-sur-Mer overlooking the Cap Ferrat peninsula and the Mediterranean Sea, the vegetable garden provides the Hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant with fresh, seasonal produce, including tomatoes, beans, radishes, beetroot, artichokes and all manner of aromatic herbs.

The experience celebrates natural beauty and elegant simplicity, offering guests the chance to savour a delectable meal in a secluded location. A wooden dining table is set up on the hillside facing the sea and the St. Jean du Cap Ferrat peninsula, allowing diners to take in dreamy views of the French Riviera.

The table setting exudes rustic charm, with wooden accents, floaty linen tablecloths and vibrant centrepieces of seasonal fruits and vegetables, from plump aubergines to purple cabbage and large, succulent tomatoes. Freshly picked meadow flowers and deep green foliage in pretty pots adorn the table, while crockery sets in sage green and warm shades of mustard yellow add a touch of country flair. In the evenings, glass lanterns and flickering candles create a wonderfully romantic atmosphere.

This memorable, dining experience begins with a glass or two of Champagne and finger food to stimulate the appetite as guests take in the sublime panorama below.

Michelin-starred Chef Yoric Tièche, who is at the helm of the Hotel’s award-winning Le Cap Restaurant, has put together a selection of refreshing seasonal dishes that are perfect to enjoy on a warm day, including tomato iced tea, zucchini and figs and vegetable and anchovy salad, as well as a delectable selection of sweet delights.

The experience includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen garden with gregarious Head Gardener Bastien Bosio, who provides an insight into the workings of the Chef’s vegetable garden, sharing tips on how best to grow seasonal greens. During the tour, Bastian introduces guests to unique, fragrant scents, from the zesty aroma of lemongrass to the more pungent smell of curry leaves.

Available for both lunch and dinner from April 2023, the Nomad Dining Experience is priced at EUR 1700 for two (starting rate).

Ultimate luxury experience will end on 2023-10-31
