Combined under one roof, these two hotels form one of the largest properties in the BeNeLux region, with a combined room count of 480 keys and 26,000 m2.

Whilst the hotels continue to operate, the transformation is already underway, with an expected rebranding date for the properties in 2024.

These hotels extend Cycas’ partnership with global hospitality partner Hilton Hotels & Resorts to four hotels, and bring the total Cycas Hospitality portfolio to 54 hotels under management in 12 countries across Europe.

Matt Luscombe, Chief Executive Officer at Cycas Hospitality said: "We are extremely proud to be taking on our sixth and seventh hotels in our home market of The Netherlands, and to be part of such an iconic refurbishment and rebranding project. We are excited to launch this new partnership with Annexum and partner Orange Investment Managers, and to extend our relationship with Hilton.”

Mainport Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre will join the portfolio of 15 trading properties in the Netherlands & two operating Hilton hotels in the city of Rotterdam.

Mainport Hotel Rotterdam, Curio Collection by Hilton

The first Curio Collection by Hilton property in the city, Mainport Hotel Rotterdam will feature spectacular views of both the waterfront and city centre of Rotterdam from wraparound windows, as well as 215 characterful and spacious guest rooms.

Curio Collection by Hilton is an upper upscale, global portfolio of one-of-a-kind hotels handpicked for their unique character; each one is an integral part of the destination it calls home.

The hotel will also include an on-site bar and restaurant, overlooking the River Maas and serving a delicious menu of dishes and cocktails. Guests will also be able to experience the hotel’s top floor spa and fitness facilities.

For business travellers, the hotel will include 600 square metres of conference and events space, set across 10 meeting rooms.

DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre

Occupying the adjacent building at the base of the Erasmus Bridge, DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre’s 265 guest rooms will include rooms with waterfront views and panoramas of the city, and a bar and restaurant available to guests at both Mainport Hotel Rotterdam and DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre.

DoubleTree by Hilton is a fast-growing, global portfolio of upscale hotels with a philosophy of making guests feel comfortable while traveling, including through DoubleTree’s signature warm cookie welcome at check-in.

Across the two properties, there will be an impressive, combined meetings and events capacity of 800 guests and the meeting spaces of DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre’s, located on the 15th and 16th floors, will provide a jaw-dropping backdrop for meetings and events with views of the harbour city’s port, skyline and the River Maas. Hotel guests at both properties will also be able to enjoy the on-site pool and spa.

Both hotels will feature private parking, including electric vehicle charging stations and easy access to Leuvehaven metro station and Rotterdam’s extensive tram network.

Located on the Leuvehaven waterfront, incredible city must-sees, including the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Old Harbour, Maritime Museum Rotterdam and Cube Houses, are just a short walk away.
