To further enhance its experience for guests, The Athenaeum will offer Molton Brown’s brand-new Reviving Rosemary collection in its guest rooms and public spaces.

The range, which is Molton Brown’s first aromatherapy collection, has been created using sustainably-sourced rosemary, and Tamanu Oil collected in Madagascar when the nuts fall from the trees, eliminating waste in the production.

The collection offers a fully holistic experience for guests, allowing them to both enhance their bathing experience and enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy.

Reviving Rosemary will be available for guests throughout The Athenaeum’s Residences, using Molton Brown’s popular refillable dispensing solutions, which help to reduce waste and add the brand’s classic British styling to any room or space.

As a leader in providing sustainable dispensing solutions for hotels for decades, Molton Brown offers solutions to suit every need.

At The Athenaeum, this will include the use of the brand’s refillable double and triple dispenser solutions for Bath & Shower Gel, Shampoo and Conditioner, as well as glass bottles.

Other favourites from Molton Brown’s iconic fragrance collections will also be available for guests at The Athenaeum, with the Orange & Bergamot and Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel fragrances offered through aroma reeds, which will be used to deliver a complete fragrance experience for guests.

As an environmentally conscious hotel, The Athenaeum is passionately committed to operating more sustainably.

The hotel has its very own 329sqm Living Wall which removes 757kg of carbon dioxide every year, deploys smart solutions which reduce wastage, has eliminated ingle-use plastic throughout the hotel and has dedicated recycling efforts in place for everything from Nespresso pods to cooking oil.

This shared pioneering approach to sustainability, as well as their parallel status as icons of British style, is the foundation of this new partnership, which will see the two brands focus on delivering a premium experience rooted in both their heritage and their modern, sustainable ideals.

The Athenaeum embodies five-star luxury with an independent spirit at its award-winning, family-run hotel, located in the heart of Mayfair. Today, the hotel champions bespoke British craftmanship throughout every aspect of its business, coupled with a commitment to sustainable operation.

This approach matches perfectly with Molton Brown, whose pioneering founders began the company in London’s South Molton Street in the 1970s, using only the finest ingredients, in a responsible manner, to create exceptional fragrances.

Today, the company is a leader in supplying fragrances to five-star hotels around the world, and continues to evolve its own sustainability commitments.

These include being 100% vegetarian and cruelty-free, never testing on animals and using the best natural ingredients, with all collections manufactured in England to ensure the highest quality standard and promote local and greener manufacturing.

Steve Clark, Senior Director Retail & Hotel at Molton Brown, said: “We are delighted to announce this new partnership with The Athenaeum, which continues our mission to deliver true sustainable luxury for hotel guests, while celebrating and building on our heritage as creators of British fragrance.

“Hotel guests today want luxury and sustainability to go hand-in-hand, and this is something that we at Molton Brown have believed in since the very beginning. We are very pleased to bring this to life in such an iconic setting as The Athenaeum, which is a true landmark for London and the British hotel sector.”

Joanne Taylor-Stagg, General Manager, The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences said: “Our partnership with Molton Brown is another great step towards reaching our sustainability goals. As the first hotel globally to introduce their new Reviving Rosemary collection with its refillable solutions and offer it to guests as bathroom amenities, we are proud to provide our guests with an eco-conscious luxury experience that aligns with our shared ethos of responsible living.”
