Tianjin’s historical significance plays into the unique character of Patina Tianjin.
Between 1895 and 1900, Tianjin was a cosmopolitan hub with distinct European, Japanese, and Russian influences, each featuring its own infrastructure.
Replete with character, the Italian Heritage District, covering an area of 28.45 hectares, with buildings designed by Italian architects epitomized the elegance of Italian Classicism, part of which is now beautifully conserved by Patina Tianjin.
The hotel sits on a 18,000 square meter property within the town and is bisected by the start of a lively Minzu Road pedestrian promenade terminating at the popular Marco Polo Square.
The 17 heritage buildings accommodate more than 150 luxury guest rooms, including an exquisite 600 sqm historical presidential villa.
The guest room blocks are oriented inward toward private garden courtyards to create an urban oasis to be discovered and appreciated.
Each guest room offers view of the courtyard through its Italianate windows, merging the spirit of a bygone era with the serenity of nature in season.
This celebration of its gracious gardens set within a rich historical milieu offers Patina Tianjin a sense of urbane tranquillity within the bustling city.

True to the Patina ethos, the hotel emphasizes sustainable practices and eco-friendly operations.
Patina Tianjin incorporates LEED standards for energy and WELL standards focused on indoor environment quality. Features like circadian lighting, fresh air filtration, and mindful eating spaces enhance both guest and staff well-being alike.

Interspersed throughout the hotel grounds are the main restaurant offering a range of local and international culinary delights, a specialty restaurant for celebrative dining, a lively and trendy café with its street-front alfresco seating.
Patina Wellness is in its own building with spa facilities, gym, and indoor conservatory swimming pool, to provide wellness and leisure activities that rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul.
