New Employment Center Prepares for more than 50,000 Applicants
Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE:LVS) announced today that The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino, a mega-resort currently being built adjacent to the company's famed Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, has begun accepting applications for the resort's 4,000 available jobs. In anticipation of The Palazzo's opening this fall, a new employment center has been established to handle the more than 50,000 expected applications.
"As we look forward to the highly-anticipated opening of The Palazzo, we are delighted to welcome new team members to our organization." stated Rob Goldstein, president of The Palazzo and The Venetian. "The Venetian has become one of the world's most successful and recognizable hotels largely because of the long-standing dedication and commitment of our team members. That same type of professionalism is what will help establish The Palazzo as a must-stay destination for the world's most discriminating travelers."
The Palazzo is accepting applications for positions in hotel operations, housekeeping, gaming, food and beverage, property operations, marketing, telecommunications, wedding services, entertainment and administration.

This is also a rare chance to get in on the ground floor and become an integral part of creating a world-class resort," stated Mike Gentry, vice president of human resources for The Venetian and The Palazzo. "To accommodate the tremendous influx of job applicants expected, we have moved our Employment Center off-site. This move provides us with more space which, in turn, will allow us to process applicants more efficiently and make the job search easier for all involved."
The new employment center will serve the employment needs of the integrated Venetian and Palazzo complex. It is conveniently located at 7180 Pollock Drive, one block west of Warm Springs Road just off Interstate 215. The 12,000 square-feet of office space features 65 computer terminals where applicants can apply for the job of their choice. Additionally, there is ample room to conduct private panel or group interviews and plenty of parking near the office.
The Palazzo will offer competitive wages and provide full-time team members with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, mental health insurance, dependent life insurance, short and long term disability and a competitive 401(k) plan. Additionally, all team members receive complimentary meals in the team member dining room per each eight-hour shift, access to onsite day care, a wellness center and guaranteed covered parking in the team member parking garage.
