Area General Manger, Evason Phuket & Six Senses Spa. Henry Gray has joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas as the area general manager, overseeing the Evason Phuket and the Evason Hideaway at Yao Noi - which is opening in September 2007.
Henry joins Six Senses from his most recent role of general manager of The Oberoi, Udaivilas in Udaipur, Rajasthan India. Prior to that he had a 12-year stint with Amanresorts , opening and operating Mahakua - Hacienda de San Antonio in Colima, Mexico; and the renowned Amandari in Bali, Indonesia.
With a Diploma-OND in Hotel & Catering Management from the Henley College for Hotel Training in Coventry, England, Henry’s early career took him to the British Virgin Islands, Canada and his native Scotland.
Henry is based at the Evason Phuket.
Paul Rodwell – General Manager, Evason Latitude & Six Senses Spa at Jafre. Paul Rodwell has joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas as the opening general manger of the Evason Latitude at Jafre, the first property to be branded as an Evason Latitude and scheduled to open in mid-2008. The resort is near Girona and is a 90-minute drive north of Barcelona, Spain.
Paul joins the Evason Latitude from his most recent role as resident manager of Amanjena in Marrakech, Morocco, where he was responsible for the overall management of the resort. Prior to that, he had a three-year stint managing the unique explora Lodge in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. He also set up a tented ten-day crossing of the Andes and Uyuni salt lakes through Bolivia.
After earning a BSc (Hons.) 2:1 Degree in Hotel and Catering Management at the University of Surrey in Guilford, Paul’s career took him to Spain then Chile, as well as his native Britain in a variety of roles with Hyatt International.
Paul is based at the Evason Latitude at Jafre.
