It was converted into a hotel in 1988 and has been owned for the last 30 years by a European shipping family that spent the past 3 decades reconstituting the estate back into its original form. The hotel consists of 42 rooms and suites, 9 cottages, a state-of-the-art spa, an equestrian centre and 2 restaurants, one of which has a Michelin star. The estate also includes 500 acres of parkland.
