A first-of-its-kind experience in the city, the library brings together a rotating collection of more than 60 artisanal cheeses, premium cold cuts, and refined non-alcoholic wines—all curated by Philippe Caillouet, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France in service craftsmanship and Riyadh’s first French cheesemonger.

Each cheese is carefully chosen to appeal to Saudi palates and is directly imported through exclusive Four Seasons channels.

From hand-pressed Camembert to long-aged wheels with robust profiles, every piece is aged to perfection and paired with thoughtfully selected charcuterie and condiments.

Complementing the cheese offerings is an exceptional range of non-alcoholic wines, appealing to the growing demand for luxury halal dining.

Featured brands include:

  • Bella: A premium Italian sparkling wine from Iris Vigneti, crafted using a patented method that preserves the aromas of green apple, mint, and basil. Unpasteurized and fresh, Bella offers an elegant perlage ideal for pairings.
  • Lussory: A Spanish label known for its halal-certified Merlot, Chardonnay, and Airen-based whites. Made via patented de-alcoholization, these wines retain authentic grape character and are low in calories, vegan-friendly, and additive-free.
The cheese and wine library is not just a place to dine; it’s an immersive experience. Guests are invited to explore cheese and beverage pairings under the guidance of Philippe, who brings a sommelier’s finesse and a teacher’s passion to the table. The full experience can be enjoyed within the elegant surroundings of Café Boulud or extended beyond, with cheeses and charcuterie available for takeaway.

Weekly Masterclass Experience

Starting September 2, 2025 Café Boulud will introduce a weekly Cheese and Wine Pairing Masterclass, led by Philippe Caillouet himself.
  • When: Every Tuesday | 6:30-7:30 pm (until end of the year)
  • What to Expect: A pre-dinner tasting of five curated cheeses, expertly paired with condiments, accompaniments, and a specially designed non-alcoholic wine program.
  • Price: SAR 225 per guest
