MANDARIN ORIENTAL STRENGTHENS LEADERSHIP TEAM WITH SENIOR APPOINTMENTS TO DRIVE GROWTH AND TRANSFORMATION

Mandarin Oriental has announced a series of senior appointments to reinforce critical areas of its business, as the Group executes its transformation strategy and advances its ambition to unfold its full potential.

2025 marks a pivotal year for Mandarin Oriental, focused on translating vision into measurable impact, scaling the portfolio, enhancing operational performance and ensuring long-term value creation for guests, colleagues and owners.

To deliver on this ambition, the Group has appointed proven leaders across food and beverage, technology, sustainability and wellness, essential to driving commercial performance and sustaining Mandarin Oriental's competitive edge.

Group Chief Executive of Mandarin Oriental, Laurent Kleitman, said:

These appointments bring exceptional knowledge and fresh perspective in areas that are fundamental to our growth. The new appointments include Christian Gradnitzer as Group Director of Food & Beverage, bringing 30 years of international leadership experience and a reputation for shaping distinctive dining concepts that enhance brand equity.

Christian previously played a pivotal role in establishing Jumeirah Group's global restaurant division, holding several senior positions with Hilton International and most recently he led Rikas Hospitality Group, the leading operator of restaurants and beach clubs in the Middle East as VP of Business Development and Operations.

Raphael Bick joins as Chief Information Officer, with over two decades of expertise in technology, digital innovation, and AI-driven transformation. He will lead Mandarin Oriental's modernisation and personalisation agenda, following his successful tenure as a Partner and Asia Leader of Technology with McKinsey & Company.

Kandé Camara has been appointed Chief of Staff to the CEO and Group Director of Sustainability, bringing a career that spans finance, luxury and hospitality, alongside senior sustainability roles at Kerzner International and Parfums Christian Dior. She will advance Mandarin Oriental's environmental, social and governance commitments while supporting the execution of executive priorities.

Last but not least, Emlyn Brown joins as Group Director of Spa, Leisure and Wellness, with more than 25 years of international expertise in wellness innovation. Most recently, he led the global wellbeing strategy at Accor for the Luxury Division as Senior Vice President Wellbeing. Emlyn will shape Mandarin Oriental's integrated wellness vision to further strengthen guest satisfaction, loyalty and profitability.

Collectively, these leaders will play a central role in shaping Mandarin Oriental's next chapter, ensuring the Group delivers on its objectives with experiences that create lasting value.
