The five-star Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt will be able to offer guests an even wider range of top quality conference facilities following the completion of its comprehensive remodelling at the end of August 2007. Germany’s first “Certified Conference Hotel” will then have 2,000 m² of conference space at its disposal. Furthermore, as part of the renovation work the 104 rooms of the Executive Tower have been modernised and an exclusive lounge area added.

From the end of August the business hotel at Frankfurt Airport will have a conference facility covering 2,000 m² with 38 conference rooms. The largest of these, at 885 m², will hold up to 1,000 people. In addition, there is a large outdoor area, measuring 6,000 m², which can also be included in event planning. The access to the conference area is at ground level and the rooms have vehicular access, making them even more attractive for a wide range of presentations and trade fairs – such as functions for the automobile industry.

All conference rooms have natural daylight and electronic media control via built-in and mobile touch screen technology. The technical equipment provided includes projectors, 16/9 screens, 40-inch monitors, video conferencing facilities and W-LAN. It is also possible to broadcast images and sound in the foyer areas.

Following modernisation, the 94 spacious designer rooms and ten suites in the Executive Tower will offer W-LAN, flat screen technology, comfort mattresses and individually adjustable air conditioning. A separate reception desk will ensure rapid Check-in and Check-out for guests in the Executive rooms. Local calls will be free, as will the use of the Open Sky Wellness area. Guests will have the option of exclusive access to the Executive Lounge, where breakfast can also be served. In this 150 m² space they will be able to use their own dedicated Concierge Service or the Business Center, relax with a drink and a newspaper or, in a separate area, enjoy a cigar.
