Hotel is the first Crowne Plaza to be located in Peru
IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group), [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)] the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, today announced that the Holiday Inn Select Lima hotel in Peru has become the Crowne Plaza Lima. The 88-room 15-story Crowne Plaza Lima is owned and operated by Inversiones Don Quijote, S.A., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the financial, commercial, cultural and tourist district of Miraflores, just minutes from the best tourist attractions, beaches and recreational areas, as well as some of the best restaurants Lima has to offer.
Led by a team of expert architects and designers, the hotel's expansion and transformation into a Crowne Plaza was developed with the intention of upgrading and renovating the property to meet Crowne Plaza's brand standards.

The major renovations throughout the hotel include the expansion and redesigning of the lobby to incorporate Italian marble, natural wood and two reception areas for faster check-in service. Additionally, every room and floor has been transformed to include the Crowne Plaza's colors and fresh designs. Construction of an additional floor was completed, adding 13 new finely appointed guestrooms. Three floors have also been designated Club Floors offering a lounge that serves gourmet breakfasts and afternoon hors d'oeuvres. The hotel's restaurant has also been expanded and the business center was converted into a Cyber Café. Additionally, the hotel will soon be offering a full service first class spa.
The seventh floor was also converted into the Crowne Plaza's Quiet Zone, which is part of the renowned Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage® program. The program is available at all Crowne Plaza hotels in the Americas and encompasses the entire sleep experience, from training staff on how to create and maintain a restful environment to providing innovative products and services. Program components include new bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, sleep CDs, sleep tips and amenities such as eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray.
Also consistent with the Crowne Plaza brand, the hotel offers a comprehensive meetings package to ensure a seamless planning process and exceptional meeting experience consisting of three key components: a Two-Hour Response Guarantee, Crowne Meetings Director and a Meetings Daily Debrief. With a total of six meeting rooms, the hotel will provide its guests with the perfect venue for business meetings and social functions.
