Bangkok may be notorious for its traffic jams, but guests

The Conrad Bangkok has this month introduced the most elaborate choice of vehicles for its discerning guests. Having recently launched its Mercedes-Benz SLK200 sports roadster for stylish solo travellers, the hotel is now the first in Thailand to purchase 18 brand new Mercedes-Benz S320 CDI – the largest fleet in South East Asia, at a cost of over US$6 million.
The bespoke vehicles have been upgraded and modified exclusively to the Conrad Bangkok’s requirements and include a Harman/Kardon LOGIC7® DTS surround sound system complete with 12 speakers offering an unparalleled audio experience. The rear seat entertainment system also allows guests to view the latest market news from Bloomberg or watch the movie of their choice. For guests wishing to enjoy their preferred choice of music, the specially ordered iPod Interface kit allows MP3 players to be linked up to the surround sound system.
Conrad Bangkok’s new Mercedes-Benz limousine also includes GPS tracking,Internet access and an in-seat massager all intended to offer guests the ultimate in luxury…The Luxury of Being Yourself.
For guests requiring speed over luxury, the Conrad Bangkok has introduced two slick black scooters enabling its guests to bypass the traffic for the speediest way to get around the city. The two “Easy Rider” scooters were purchased following suggestions from guests.

This latest fleet upgrade explains the Conrad Bangkok’s popularity as a luxury business and leisure hotel. Earlier in the year it was named as the city’s “Best Business Hotel” by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific and in 2006 it was named
“Thailand’s Leading Hotel” at the Annual World Travel Awards.
