The results of the 18th TTG Travel awards 2007 have been announced and The Nam Hai, a luxury property managed by General Hotel Management (GHM) Limited, has been named Best New Beach Resort.
GHM, a luxury hotel development and management company, is the market leader in conceptualising, developing and operating a selection of exclusive hotels and resorts worldwide. GHM manages a portfolio of three brands including highly regarded properties such as The Datai in Langkawi, The Setai in Miami, The Chedi hotels and The Serai hotels worldwide.
The annual TTG Travel Awards seeks to honour the most outstanding performers in Asia-Pacific’s travel industry. The awards ceremony was last night at the Sofitel Centara Grand in Bangkok. There are four categories in the TTG Travel Award, two of which are open to all TTG readers for votes. Awards are bestowed upon the best amongst the travel industry.
“We are very delighted to be the recipient of this prestigious award,” said Mr. John Laing, General Manager of The Nam Hai. “This award acknowledges our dedication to quality which has always been a trademark GHM hotels.”
The Nam Hai opened in December 2006 and is the Asian flagship of GHM. Since its opening, the resort has won top accolades from various influential international travel and lifestyle publications. A summary of these accolades includes;
