Yoshie Kondo - Director of Sales Weddings & Business Development Manager Weddings. Yoshie Kondo has joined Six Senses Resorts & Spas as the director of sales weddings and business development manager for Six Senses weddings. In addition to driving wedding operations in the Maldives, her responsibilities cover new business development in Six Senses key markets such as Vietnam, Fiji, Spain, Australia and USA. She will liaise closely with Six Senses sales representation in Japan, and report directly to TJ Grundl-Hong, chief sales officer and managing director of business development in the group’s Bangkok Hub.
Kondo-san joins Six Senses from her former role as general manager of the South Pacific Bridal Division of Bridal Cube INC., where she was responsible for the research and development of new overseas chapels and the general sales and operations of the business.
Previously, as team leader of wedding purchasing and planning for the national planning and package tour department of JTB Australia in Sydney, Kondo-san was responsible for wedding purchasing and package tour planning over a period of four years. Prior to this, she also had tenures with JTB New Zealand in Fiji and JTB in Australia, holding various sales positions. Educated in Japan, Kondo-san’s professional sales background also included roles in her native Japan with NTT Data Communications.
