Mr Pimont replaces incumbent Regional Executive Vice-President, Asia, and Managing Director, The Peninsula Hong Kong, Mr Joseph Chong.

Vincent began his career with the group in 2007 at The Peninsula Beijing as Director of Rooms, before being promoted to Hotel Manager in 2010.

In 2014, he joined the opening team of the brand's first European property, The Peninsula Paris, as Hotel Manager. He later returned to The Peninsula Beijing as Managing Director, during which time the hotel underwent a major renovation, becoming the only all-suite hotel in our portfolio.

Under his leadership, the hotel received numerous accolades, including a Michelin star awarded to its fine-dining restaurant, JING.

Since 2022, Vincent has been Managing Director of The Peninsula Paris, an iconic palace hotel on the Parisian hospitality scene. The property is renowned for its exceptional dining offers, including L'Oiseau Blanc, which has been awarded two Michelin stars. Under his leadership, the hotel has strengthened its position as a landmark address in Europe, while achieving strong commercial performance during and after the Olympic Games.

Mr Joseph Chong will be transferring to The Repulse Bay as Managing Director, effective 1 February 2026.

With nearly twenty-five years of dedicated service, including leadership positions at The Peninsula Shanghai, The Peninsula Beijing and The Peninsula Hong Kong, Joseph has demonstrated exceptional commitment to the company.

In his new role, Joseph will be responsible for leading one of the group's most important commercial property assets which comprises luxury residences and a retail arcade, located on the beautiful south side of Hong Kong island.
