The Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is in the world’s top hotel league – and that’s official! The renowned US magazine Institutional Investor has rated the Berlin hotel not only as best European hotel but also places it at a sensational third place in its ranking of the world’s top 100 hotels – a ranking which is eagerly anticipated by the international business world. The results came from frequent travellers from the financial industry’s top management in 34 countries who were asked to vote on a scale from 1 to 100. The Hotel Adlon scored 93.8 points.
“This award is evidence of how well our hotel is accepted by the public and forms the high point of our jubilee celebrations this year,” says Stephan Interthal, Managing Director of the Adlon. “We are so pleased, it is a great honour and makes us very proud. Yet, at the same time, we are aware of the high responsibility this brings with it – we must not only maintain our quality and service but also continually increase these.”
This is already the third time that the business magazine, one of the most important in the industry, has honoured the luxury hotel. The Ritz-Carlton Battery Park in New York, which scored 95.9 points, was voted as the world’s top hotel and the Four Seasons in San Francisco, which scored 95.4 points, came second.
