Le Meridien Cancun Resort & Spa to Re-open November 16 - Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach, Miami Remains Open

Le Meridien Cancun Resort & Spa will reopen to guests on November 16, following its closure due to damage sustained during the passage of Hurricane Wilma. The hotel was fortunate, sustaining no serious structural damage or injuries to any guests or members of the staff during the hurricane.
From November 16, the majority of guest rooms will be available, with both Aioli Restaurant and Rendez-Vous bar fully operational. The hotel will also offer a limited room service and a limited pool service, while Mistral ballroom and Tramontane meeting room will be available for hire. As always, the staff at Le Meridien Cancun Resort & Spa will offer the highest level of service. Spa del Mar and the Martiniere ballroom will be closed until further notice for repairs.
According to general manager Jean-Peirre Sorin: "Cancun has demonstrated its strong will and ability to handle this type of natural disaster. Le Meridien Cancun Resort & Spa will dedicate all efforts to recovering the region and ensuring it continues to be a beautiful and safe place for travelers. I am confident that Cancun will be fully restored and operational again by the end of the year."
Le Meridien Sunny Isles Beach, Miami remains open, having received only minor damage following the landfall of Hurricane Wilma in Florida. All the hotel services are fully operational.
