Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Robert S. Dorr as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the 236 guestroom upscale Westin Virginia Beach Town Center hotel. The hotel, which opened this past November, is the focal point of the Town Center of Virginia Beach, a mixed-use "main street" style development located at the core of the city's Central Business District and the home of its cultural, business and retail activities.
Mr. Dorr joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from Sage Hospitality where he was the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Holiday Inn Waterbury Hotel & Conference Center. He brings more than 18 years of hospitality industry management experience to his new role having also held positions with the Bedford Springs Resort in PA; the Dolce Heritage Hotel, Resort & Conference Center, Montvale, NJ; and the Goodwin Hotel in Hartford, CT.
"Bob has an extensive background in managing sales and marketing for new and upscale hotels," said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. "We know his experience and determination will be an asset at the beautiful new Westin Virginia Beach Town Center," added Denfeld.

The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center
The Westin Virginia Beach Town Center is a full-service, state-of-the-art, meeting-friendly hotel.
