Stephanie Henriksen Appointed Regional Director of Sales for Georgia
In its ongoing efforts to provide superior representation and advisory services to hospitality suppliers and meeting management professionals, Prestige Resorts & Destinations, Ltd. has appointed Stephanie Henriksen as a Regional Director of Sales for Georgia, based in Atlanta.
In her new position, Henriksen will function as a complete site selection and hospitality supplier resource supporting corporate, association and independent meeting professionals throughout Georgia.
According to Prestige's Regional Vice President - Southern Region Greg Leeper, "We are pleased to have Stephanie join Prestige as she brings a wealth of knowledge with more than 18 years of experience in marketing communications and sales. Her specialized experience in meeting planner services will be invaluable to her client base."
During the last year, Henriksen was an independent meeting planner and marketing consultant. Between 1997 and 2007, Henriksen held several positions at Agilysys, Inc., an information technology company, in Alpharetta, Ga., the most recent being marketing manager, meeting and events. During her career, she has also worked for other Georgia companies including Optio Software in Duluth and Peachtree Software in Norcross.
Henriksen is an active member of the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and serves as committee co-chair for one of its leading annual conventions, the Summer Educational Alliance (SEA). Henriksen holds an associate degree from Bauder College in Atlanta.
