Hilton Beijing Wangfujing has announced the appointment of Anthony Legaspi as Director of Business Development.
As a member of the hotel’s Executive pre-opening team, Legaspi will oversee the Sales efforts for the 255 room, intimate-style property. This includes group, corporate and leisure guestroom business as well as the hotel’s meeting and events initiatives, revenue management, reservations and marketing programs, reporting directly to the hotel’s General Manager, Nils Arne Schroeder.
Legaspi brings a wealth of experience in successfully directing sales and marketing for luxury hotels. He was the pre-opening Director of Events Management for Shangri-La Dubai, a multi award-winning hotel, where he was responsible for the development of new and exciting business opportunities to significantly increase revenue for both group rooms and catering.
Prior to joining Hilton Beijing Wangfujing, Anthony held the position of Director of Sales at the Pudong Shangri-La in Shanghai, where he provided leadership to a sales force of 30 professionals. In addition he was responsible for securing nearly 240,000 room nights annually, the highest room night goal in the industry.
Legaspi is a graduate of De La Salle University Manila where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with an accounting major.
