Baglioni Hotels is pleased to announce 2 new senior appointments to their management team: Mr. Marco Novella and Mr. Faisal Rashid.
Marco Novella, new Managing Director Baglioni Hotel London and Head Openings Baglioni Hotels, began his brilliant career at the Four Seasons Hotel in Milan. He has joined Baglioni after years of experience in prestigious Starwood Hotels, where he held the position of Hotel Manager at the Grand Hotel St.Regis in Rome and of General Manager at the Hotel Gritti Palace in Venice and at the Hotel W in Milan
Novella commented on his entry into the group: "I am very enthusiastic about this change in my professional career. When I met with the Baglioni Group for the first time I could feel their great passion for the hotel industry from how they talked. It took only a few exchanges of ideas to confirm that we have a lot in common and at the same time realise that we could complement each other with our own individual experiences. I am convinced that the Baglioni vision of luxury and their approach to style and design represents the future of our industry and presents so many opportunities of growth even in tough times like these. Faisal Rashid, Baglioni Hotels Regional Director of Sales for the Middle East area and Baglioni Hotel London Regional Director of Sales for the Middle East, after a successful career as the head of the department named “Government and Royal Families" and as Business Development Manager at Marriott Hotels & Resorts brings a deep knowledge of the Middle East and of Arab culture.
He expresses his appreciation for Baglioni Hotels: " Working for a high end boutique hotel chain has been one of my many aspirations since I joined the hospitality industry 16 years ago. My vast experience in the Middle East seems to be a perfect fit with the vision of Commendator Roberto Polito and Baglioni Hotels.
