The leading resort of Hurghada, the Steigenberger Al Dau Resort with its two properties, the 5 star deluxe Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel and the 4 star Steigenberger Al Dau Club celebrates the success of 2008 during its annual staff party this January and looks optimistically towards the future.
The annual event, which was attended by all staff of both properties, was a joyous affair, with live traditional music and belly dancer, and cookies and cake served. There was also a tombola, with something to be won by everyone, including electronic gadgets and household appliances.
During his speech addressing all managers and staff, the chairman of the group company, Steigenberger Middle East Hotels and Resorts, Eng. Bassel Sami Saad, expressed his appreciation for the hard work and great effort extended by everyone in driving the success of the Steigenberger Al Dau Resort and in making it the top destination on the West Coast of the Red Sea. Mr. Saad also stressed that despite the difficult economic outlook ahead, bonuses would still be paid and lay-offs would not be made – acknowledging everyone's credit in the successful operations.
