The new Allegria Hotel & Spa, a luxury beachfront hotel on the south shore of Long Island, will provide a range of meeting offerings for corporate gatherings, retreats and conferences.

The new Allegria Hotel & Spa, a luxury beachfront hotel on the south shore of Long Island, will open in May 2009. Located less than 30 miles from New York City, the property will provide a range of meeting offerings for corporate gatherings, retreats and conferences.

"The prime location of Allegria paired with our full-service spa, inventive cuisine and proximity to Manhattan, add up to a compelling destination for meetings and incentive guests," explains Allen Rosenberg, Owner and Founder of Allegria Hotel & Spa.

The 3,182-square-foot Grand Ballroom, located on the lobby level, will accommodate 260, banquet style. The Madison, Park and Lexington Suites - ideal for breakout meetings - will be situated on the third floor and seat up to 30. Business meetings will be as simple or extensive as the meeting planner requires, ranging from a single afternoon of activity to a weeklong series of workshops, classes, and outings. Allegria will even offer gatherings under the stars to take advantage of its special oceanfront location. A dedicated staffer, skilled in orchestrating functions for corporate clients, will be assigned to each event to ensure a smooth agenda from start to finish.

Conference attendees who bring along their spouse or children will be assured that the family will be kept busy. A seemingly, never-ending range of activities will be available - from frolicking in the sand to strolling the boardwalk to lounging poolside. Other daytime pursuits will include championship golf, indoor and outdoor tennis, surfing, bike-riding, offshore fishing and hunting for treasures at a myriad of shops and galleries.

Allegria will help groups unwind during meeting break-out sessions with complementary services like mini-spa treatments or refreshing beverages on the beach. Guests will also be able to indulge in a full-service treatment at the roof-top spa before dining at Atlantica - the hotel's signature restaurant operated by Chef Todd Jacobs. Jacobs is the owner of the acclaimed Tierra Mar and Atlantica restaurants in the Hamptons. His team will also oversee all catering for meetings and conferences at Allegria.
