Indochina's luxury hotel group, Victoria Hotels & Resorts, has announced 4 key appointments that will take place from 1 June 2009.
Hanno Stamm will be the newly appointed General Manager of the Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa. With almost 20 years experience in several hotel groups such as Accor and Radisson, the German national joined Victoria Hotels & Resorts in July 2002 as Rooms Division Manager of Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa. In 2003, he held the position of General Manager of Victoria Chau Doc Hotel followed by Victoria Can Tho Resort in 2004. Hanno Stamm has been Victoria Phan Thiet Resort & Spa’s General Manager since May 2007. Hanno Stamm is also a graduate of the Swiss hotel management school, Les Roches.
French national Ronan Bianchi is taking over the position of General Manager at the Victoria Phan Thiet Resort & Spa. He was appointed General Manager of Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa in August 2005 at only 31 years old, the youngest General Manager of the group. Prior to this position, Ronan was Manager of the Victoria Express Train in January 2004, Ronan Bianchi started his career as Bar Manager in several hotels in France, UK and Vietnam.
Raymond Marcel Zuest will be appointed General Manager of the Victoria Sapa Resort & Spa. After graduated from the Swiss hotel management school Lucerne, Mr. Zuest began his career in 1998 as an Assistant Manager in Switzerland and UK. The Swiss hotelier had also worked in Thailand at the Anantara Golden Triangle Resort & Spa and the Rembrandt Hotel & Tower in Bangkok, as well as at the Amari Airport Hotel next to Bangkok’s former international airport Don Muang. Prior to his last role as Victoria Can Tho Resort’s General Manager since 2007, Mr. Raymond Marcel Zuest held the position of Executive Assistant Manager at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa for two and half years.
Mrs Vo Xuan Thu will be promoted as General Manager of the Victoria Can Tho Resort & Spa. Vietnamese national from Can Tho, Mrs. Vo has previously held the position of Rooms Division Manager since 2004. The 33-year old joined the group in 2001 as an Assistant front office manager and took over the position of Front Office Manager in 2003.
