Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group today announced the launch of the Group’s interactive mobile website. The mobile site focuses on providing ease of navigation and a convenient booking tool for travellers on the move.

The site is available to view in two formats that are compatible with both touch screen devices such as iPhone and Droid, and keypad handhelds such as Blackberry and Nokia. This user friendly version allows guests to view and book rooms online, browse and search interactive maps and make dining and spa reservations. Short features and photography of each hotel are listed together with relevant phone numbers. The site also has a ‘read me later’ function that allows users to switch back and forth between their mobile device and desktop.

“Mandarin Oriental is renowned for providing guest centric technology throughout all of its properties worldwide, and we are delighted to be able to extend this facility in order to bring this condensed and straightforward version of our award-winning website to travellers on the move,” said Christoph Oberli, Head of E-Commerce.

Being able to view hotels and amenities, as well as make reservations, from the convenience of a handheld device, adds another dimension to the seamless guest experience. To access the mobile site, go to www.mandarinoriental.com.
