Resort to Feature Special “Suite 81” Offer for NASCAR Fans

Monte Carlo Resort & Casino announced today that it has entered into a one-race primary sponsorship agreement with MacDonald Motorsports and driver Michael McDowell for this weekend’s 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Sam’s Town 300. The Four Diamond resort will be the preferred Las Vegas partner for McDowell, the driver of the No. 81 car, and his crew throughout the weekend.

Monte Carlo invites guests headed to Las Vegas for the weekend’s events to take advantage of an exclusive “Suite 81” offer available now through the end of the 2010 NASCAR racing season. McDowell fans can book a Suite at Monte Carlo with rates starting at only $81 per night, and also receive a coupon redeemable for two (2) tickets for $81 to see the popular comedian/impressionist Frank Caliendo. For more information or to reserve the “Suite 81” offer, visit www.montecarlo.com/promo81 or text MC81 to 37160.

McDowell, who has emerged as one of NASCAR’s top young racers, is preparing for his first full season in the Nationwide Series. He successfully overcame a lack of sponsorship in 2009, competing in 34 of the 35 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races, and finished an impressive 13th in the final point standings. This weekend, McDowell’s No. 81 car will feature the Monte Carlo logo on the front hood, the driver’s and passenger’s side panels as well as the hood of the trunk. McDowell also has created “Text MC81 to 37160” displays for the side panels and rear of the car specifically for the television viewers.

In addition to the “Suite 81” offer, the resort also is offering guests various NASCAR-themed room packages which include discounts on room rates and passes to the Monte Carlo Buffet, among other items. All Monte Carlo room offers are subject to availability and restrictions may apply. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to book a room.

Fans who wish to receive additional offers can sign up for the Monte Carlo guestbook at www.montecarlo.com or become followers on Facebook and Twitter. For more information and room reservations, visit www.montecarlo.com or call (800) 311-8999.
