A special introductory promotion is celebrating the opening of 'penthouse hotel' Raffles Tianjin in China's future northern financial hub, Tianjin.

The luxury hotel is opening for guests on March 18 atop Tianjin Centre, in the heart of the city's business and financial district.

To promote the opening, introductory room rates until June 30 start from RMB 1,288 a night, with breakfast.

For any reservations, the offer also includes a dining credit of RMB 300 and complimentary internet access.

For an additional RMB 300 a night, guests can also additionally upgrade to an Executive Room, with promotional bonuses also including complimentary evening cocktails in The Library Lounge, and complimentary pressing or laundry of up to three clothing items a day.

All bonuses are also included in an introductory suite promotion, priced at RMB 1,818 a night for stays in a Corner Executive Suite.

Guests booking after June 1 are meanwhile treated to a welcome drink and Raffles commemorative gift, as well as complimentary access to both the Fitness Centre and The Library Lounge.

Occupying the top 36-50 floors of the Tianjin Centre’s West Tower, Raffles Tianjin’s 116 luxury rooms (including 22 elegant suites) are among the largest in the city.

At 60 sq metres, luxurious Grand Rooms are more than double the size of a standard Tianjin hotel room.

Round-the-clock butler service is also a hallmark of the Raffles brand – and a 24-hour Business Concierge, comparable to a personal assistant, assists with requests both within the hotel and across the city; from selecting culturally appropriate gifts for a meeting, to arranging for a professional translator or city guide.

Five exclusive restaurants and lounges feature CitySpace Rooftop Bar with dramatic panoramic views, Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant, SóU Rooftop Restaurant serving Japanese and European cuisine, all-day dining at Opera Café and Lobby Bar.

Unsurpassed banqueting, conference and corporate event facilities in the city include a Grand Ballroom seating to 400 and 7 state of the art function rooms.

Raffles Spa is a sanctuary of indulgence, rejuvenation and serenity featuring 10 treatment rooms, a foot reflexology lounge, yoga room and a heated swimming pool.

General Manager of Raffles Tianjin, Gilbert Madhavan said: "We are setting a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Tianjin.”

Located along the prime shopping belt of Binjiang Avenue, above its own designer shopping mall, Raffles Tianjin is just a stroll from two metro stations, and 20 minutes from Tianjin Railway Station, connecting to the 30-minute high speed railway to Beijing.

Tianjin Binhai International Airport is only 30 minutes away, with connections to major cities in China and worldwide destinations.

Raffles Tianjin is Raffles Hotels & Resorts’ second property in China, following Raffles Beijing Hotel, in the heart of the Chinese capital’s prestigious business and commercial districts along Chang An Avenue and shopping district of Wangfujing, just a short stroll from the historic Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
