With football fans heading to Africa this summer for one of the world's biggest sporting events, Starwood Hotels and Resorts is offering travellers the chance to win up to one million Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) points when they stay at participating properties in Africa and the Indian Ocean.
The traveller with the most stays in Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Africa and the Indian Ocean until December 2010 will be awarded one million SPG points, the currency of the award-winning loyalty programme Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG). A further 300,000 points will go to the person with the second most stays, 200,000 points to the person with the third most stays and there will also be a draw for 100,000 Starpoints for three more lucky winners.
Over twenty Sheraton, Le Meridien, The Luxury Collection and Four Points by Sheraton hotels and resorts in destinations such as Egypt, Morocco, The Gambia, Mauritius, Nigeria, Senegal, Seychelles and South Africa are included in this great promotion.
Rates start from as low as $70 per room per night at the Sheraton Dreamland Hotel & Conference Centre, located just 8 kilometers from the Pyramids in Cairo.
