Named Company of the Year by LATINA Style
LATINA Stylemagazine named Marriott International "Company of the Year" in the publication's recent special edition of the "50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work for in the U.S." This is the 13th year Marriott has been on the list, and the first time being at the very top. According to the publication, The LATINA Style 50 Report is the most respected evaluation of corporate America's career advancement opportunities for Latinas.
As company of the year, Marriott is featured on the cover, and the magazine includes two articles -- one with J.W. Marriott, Jr., chairman and CEO, and another with Brenda Durham, vice president and assistant general counsel.
In the magazine, Bill Marriott says, "I'm excited and proud that our company has been named Company of the Year by LATINA Style Magazine. This is the 13th year that we've been recognized as one of the best places to work for Latinas and it demonstrates our commitment to weave diversity and inclusion into the fabric of our business globally."
In Brenda Durham's interview, she talks about her personal career path, and says that she admires and is proud that Marriott encourages diversity across the broad spectrum of its programs.
