The Hotel’s signature crystal Christmas tree, placed in the centre of the oval-shaped lobby of the Hotel, will begin to glow from 1st December. Beneath the gigantic Swarovski chandelier in the lobby, in the evening of 24th and 25th December, singing and handbell will be performed by an award-winning group, Christian Alliance S.Y.Yeh Memorial Primary School’s Choir and Handbell Team. On New Year’s Eve, our resident harpist, Ms Elena Katygorokh, will direct her group of talented young kids playing baby harps, filling the air with blissful Christmas melody.

Special access to the Viewing Deck on 42/F, renowned for its 270-degree view of Victoria Harbour, will be honoured to all hotel guests and restaurant patrons on the New Year’s Eve for the countdown firework display of “Hong Kong’s New Year Countdown Celebrations”. Highlights in restaurants include an exquisite offering this Christmas and New Year, with a myriad of selections for even the most demanding guests. In the 7-course set dinner menu on Christmas Eve at Le 188° Restaurant & Lounge, Executive Chef Jeno Friedl destroys the barrier of plates and reconstructs with vitality and expressive power to the bespoken ingredients and their ultimate look. Foie Gras Terrine, Pan fried Giant Scallop, Roasted Venison Loin … one outshines other desserts in town is his signature – star-adorned Christmas Full Moon Cake. Our resident Jazz band “Harbour Nova” will embellish the atmosphere with tunes of heaven. Imagine doing countdown here – on the top floor of the Hotel, appreciating the firework display at Central, with the brightly-lit cityscape from Tsim Sha Tsui stretching out to Kowloon East … all the glamour begins here.

The all-time-favourite buffet at Harbour Grand Café will fill the 80-feet-long buffet station with superb items including but not limited to lobster, crab legs, oysters, and of course plus all-you-can-eat Christmas foodies like Christmas Pudding, Ginger Bread Pana Cotta, Stollen and assorted log cakes. There will be party favour and free flow of house wine and soft drinks for dinner buffet. As a highlight, Santa Claus will pay a visit to all kid guests, and bless them with his secret presents.
