Guestroom package and a “wish tree” to support ill children in the Zurich area
Once again this holiday season, Park Hyatt Zurich will have a beautiful Christmas tree in the lobby and, also again, hand-made red stars will adorn this special tree. These stars can be plucked from the so-called “wish tree” and redeemed at the reception, so that hotel and restaurant guests, employees of the hotel or local residents who visit Park Hyatt Zurich can show their support of the “Kinder-Spitex Kanton Zürich”, also known as the kispex Organisation, with individual donations.
In addition to the “wish tree”, Park Hyatt Zurich has created a special guestroom package of which CHF50 of the price of each stay per room will automatically go to the kispex Organisation. All donations will be doubled by Park Hyatt Zurich after Christmas and handed to the kispex Organisation, which cares for seriously ill children and enables them to live together, despite their illness, in a community setting with their parents and siblings. Thanks to the kispex Organisation, children’s hospital stays can be shortened or sometimes even avoided – as professional care is provided at home in familiar surroundings. Parents are guided as much as possible on how to care for their child, and the employees of kispex remain personally and professionally committed to the families.
