Crestline Hotels & Resorts Appoints Stanley Winnie as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront Hotel

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. today announced the appointment of Stanley A. Winnie as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront Hotel. The hotel was recently purchased by Trinity Hotels Investors, LLC. Trinity named Crestline Hotels & Resorts as the management company for the hotel. The upscale 479 guest room Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront -- formerly the Radisson St. Paul Riverfront, will undergo renovations beginning later this year.

Mr. Winnie joins Crestline Hotels & Resorts from Gold Key/PHR Hotels & Resorts in Virginia Beach, VA, where he held several management positions including senior director of regional marketing and corporate director of marketing and sales. His 17 year hospitality management experience also includes several sales and marketing positions with Vista Host Hotels, as well as operations management.

“Stan’s experience in assisting multiple properties, as well as his expertise in repositioning and growing sales results will be a tremendous asset to the recently re-banded Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront hotel,” said Vicki Denfeld, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Crestline Hotels & Resorts.

The Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront Hotel
The newly re-branded, Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront Hotel recently underwent a complete renovation to its 479 guestrooms and suites, and will undergo additional upgrades later this year to its 55,000 square feet of meeting space, and public areas. The hotel is located at 11 East Kellogg Boulevard, in the heart of the Twin Cities Business district and offers skyway access to adjacent businesses and shopping. The hotel sits atop the bluffs of the Mississippi River offering an exceptional view and world class service.
The hotel’s recently renovated guest rooms offer spacious comfort with high speed T-1 internet access, an executive desk, and a dual telephone line with voicemail. For meetings and banquets, the 55,000 square feet of meeting space includes a 14,300 square foot grand ballroom and a second ballroom that is 10,000 square feet with views of the Mississippi River. The hotel offers several dining options and for relaxation has a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
