The hotel with the motto of “Japanese hospitality” launch at Galaxy Macau™

Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. Head office Tokyo, Japan; President Toshihiro Ogita will open “Hotel Okura Macau” on May 15, 2011, in Galaxy Macau™, the massive leisure and entertainment complex, which is situated in the Cotai district, Macau S.A.R.

The concept of Hotel Okura Macau is “Japanese Hospitality”: offering Japanese traditional service with meticulous attention to the detail at space of relaxation. Hotel Okura Macau will welcome guests around the world with the combination of Japanese culture and superlative attention to detail with the functionality of European and American hotels, so called “Okura’s Hospitality”, that Hotel Okura has cumulated for more than fifty years since the opening of Hotel Okura Tokyo, the flagship hotel of the group.

All facilities include 488 guest rooms introduce state-of-the-art functional styling complemented with traditional Japanese touches. The width of guest rooms is, 46 to 52 square meters range in deluxe room category. From the guest rooms which face the inside of resort complex, guests are able to see “Grand Resort Deck”, the entertainment facility, and from the guest rooms which face the outside of resort complex, guests are able to see Chinese mainland.

In Japanese restaurant, “Yamazato”, which has been highly-praised both at home and abroad, guests are able to savor the authentic Taste of Japan, kaiseki meals, freshly prepared sushi, or grilled dishes while looking out the Japanese garden. Besides (staying) guest rooms, guests will delight “Japanese hospitality” through a wide variety of Restaurants, Bars and Lounges. At the Terrace Restaurant, serving fusion cuisine in lacquered Bento boxes filled with a variety of Western and Asian dishes. A wide array of Sake from across Japan will be available in the Sake Bar “Sakazuki.” The “Nagomi” lobby bar will likely create a stir with its original afternoon tea service, which will include Japanese sweets and Macau-style desserts. The Hotel guests are allowed to access “Sky Wave Pool”, the world largest pool that Galaxy Macau™ is proud of, or fitness center, spa, and so forth to fully enjoy Macau’s resort life. In addition, Macau, the romantic scenery of crossroad of Western and Eastern culture, is the hot place for overseas wedding, and Hotel Okura Macau offers its original wedding plans.
