The Peninsula Tokyo welcomes new Manager at Peter (Japan)

The Peninsula Tokyo is pleased to welcome Michel Delépine as Manager of Peter, who joins the team with a wealth of experience from a distinguished food and beverage career opening some of Tokyo’s most prestigious French restaurants.

Mr. Delépine began his career in 1980 at La Tour d’Argent Paris. He relocated to Tokyo in 1984 and opened La Tour d’Argent Tokyo. In 1994, he joined the pre-opening staff as Manager of Château Restaurant Taillevent Robuchon Tokyo, and in 1998 opened Shiseido’s famed L’Osier in Ginza. In 2001, Mr. Delépine returned to France and built a career with Pierre Gagnaire Paris before returning to Japan as Manager to open Pierre Gagnaire Tokyo in 2010.

As Manager of Peter, Mr. Delépine oversees Peter’s staff and operations with seating for 100, a semi-private dining area and The Nest – a private dining room offering magnificent views of Ginza and Tokyo Sky Tree with access to an outdoor terrace. Peter offers French cuisine in a modern and sensual setting with unique 360-degree views of Tokyo and the renowned Imperial Palace Gardens.

Mr. Delépine was born in Courbevoie, France and is married.
