Benchmark Hospitality International, a leading US-based hospitality management company, has named Ian McClendon director of rooms for Eldorado Hotel & Spa, located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Norbert Relecker, Benchmark’s general manager at the hotel, made the announcement.
“We are so pleased to welcome Ian to our spectacular property in the heart of historic Santa Fe,” said Mr. Relecker. “Ian brings important experience in running the Front Office operations for multiple luxury hotels, and also has a keen understanding of strategic revenue maximization.”
Ian McClendon was most recently special projects coordinator for Willows Lodge, part of Benchmark Hospitality International’s new Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels. His new position with Eldorado Hotel & Spa represents a promotion for Mr. McClendon within the Benchmark Hospitality organization.
Prior to joining Benchmark, Ian McClendon served as front office manager and revenue manager for the Swinomish Casino and Lodge, located in Anacortes, Washington. Earlier in his career he held senior level positions at various properties in Seattle.
Ian McClendon attended Washington State University. He is relocating to Santa Fe.
