Chris Riccardi Adds VP of Global Sales of ALHI Global Sales Organization Responsibilities (United States)

Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has promoted Chris Riccardi to Vice President of Global Sales. In his new position he is responsible for leading ALHI’s Global Sales Specialist team, which helps serve North American meeting professionals, association executives, incentive specialists, and business executives with Global destination expertise services and support, specifically for outbound meetings, incentives and conventions to ALHI destinations outside of North America. This new responsibility coincides with Riccardi’s ongoing responsibilities as the Regional Vice President – West Region for ALHI. The announcement of his promotion was made by ALHI President and CEO David Gabri.

ALHI (www.alhi.com) is a prestigious Global Sales Organization (GSO) that serves the meetings and incentive marketplace with its membership of more than 140 Four- and Five-Diamond quality hotels and resorts worldwide, which includes 27 exceptional hotels and resorts outside of the U.S. ALHI’s portfolio features more than 100,000 rooms and over 10 million square feet of meeting and function space, to serve planners with programs requiring from 10 rooms to more than 6,500 rooms.

Based in ALHI’s Southern California Global Sales Office, in Rancho Santa Margarita, Riccardi has been with ALHI for nearly nine years. He joined ALHI in 2004, when he was brought in to open the organization’s West Region Sales Office. He then was promoted to Vice President of Sales for ALHI’s West Region, and then to Regional Vice President of Sales. Prior to joining ALHI he was with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for eight years.

Riccardi is an active member of MPI Orange County, having served on the Board as the Director of Advisory Council and the Director of Community Outreach. In addition to being an active volunteer in the hospitality industry, he also has been an active volunteer in Scouts, AYSO Soccer, Little League, and NJB Basketball. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and Masters Degree in Hotel, Restaurant Tourism Administration from the University of South Carolina.
