With the renovation starting in March 2013, the hotels 57 guest rooms and public areas are primped and primed just in time to welcome guests for Gstaad’s famous ski season. And while the hotel has undoubtedly some of the world’s best pistes on its horizon- thanks to some well thought out additions, including a re-vamped spa with state-of-the-art facilities, ski bunnies might just find it hard to leave. Cementing once again its status as the very finest hotel in town, Le Grand Bellevue’s thoughtful refurbishment has made it a luxury haven for children and adults alike. Parents can relax in the opulent lounge while a well-known pianist tickles the ivories or even flex their literary muscles in the hotels library while their children play safely in the stunning new playroom.

Regular guests of the hotel will notice the addition of two new chalets annexed to the main property but it’s not all change as the famous Leonard’s and Le Petit Chalet restaurants remain for hungry foodies. Also located onsite is the prestigious Gstaad Yacht Club, also owned by the hotel and perfect for guests visiting in warmer climes.

With every detail considered, right down to the oversized lamps in the lobby and plush fabrics, the hotel has lost nothing of its world-renowned five star service, albeit in a newer, cozy, mountain-chic feel.

Thanks to careful and clever refurbishment, Le Grand Bellevue ensures that, in a town synonymous with luxury, thanks to its unique brand of opulence, it stands heads and shoulders above the rest.
